Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone. I know that it has been so long since I have posted. However a new year means new starts and I am excited to start up sharing projects and teaching techniques to you all. As you know on January 5th The new Occasions mini catalog items will be available and with that comes Sale-a-bration. With every $50 purchase you make you can earn a free item out of the Sale-a-bration mini catalog. Also they  have some limited time items and will be adding some new items. WooHoo.

As a special treat for those that have ordered from me as a thank you I have created a card. This card measures the traditional 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I used one of our new upcoming stamp sets called Birthday Blooms.

Love this stamp set.  I used some versamark and stamped it onto some kraft cardstock then embossed it with some of our whisper white embossing powder.

Afterward I used some Spectrum Noir color pencils and I colored in the image. I think colored pencils on kraft cardstock looks so vivid and amazing.

To tie it all together I used another one of our new items which is our new Wink of Stella clear  shimmer pen to add some spots of shimmer to the background and the center of the flowers. Then I also stamped a simple sentiment and punched it out with our oval punch. All done. Simple and beautiful.
