Well, I have been feeling not so well, yet I still decided to take a little down time and craft. My weapon of choice? Alcohol markers. :) Yep, I decided to color. Here is a picture of what I colored up today. Supplies used was Stampin Up white cardstock, SU alcohol markers( no longer available for purchase) and the stamped images were also from Stampin Up. The recent catalog. I was going for a more realistic look to my coloring so I gave a go at doing "no line " coloring. I will post a blog post later on to go into more detail if you are not familiar with that technique. It is still new to me too, but I have been told I may have found the best technique for me. Hahaha. Anyway, enjoy.

Cricut, Stampin Up and the Misti are perfect together for me.
Well, I was up to it again. Doing a little crafting to ease some stress. This time I used my Cricut explore to help cut the mats that I used for this card. It is a doily that is from one of the Anna Griffin cartridges. I had to turn off a few of the features in order to get it just the way I wanted it. So glad that Cricut came out with this new machine. It makes crafting so much more fun and easier. Then I used my new toy that I will have a future showcase on . The Misti! It is a life saver when doing stamping. I am so happy that it was invented. That helped me to stamp in a circle and create the center piece. The stamps used came from Stampin Up, as well as the colors( mossy meadow and blushing bride) The card stock and designer paper are also from Stampin Up in the same coordinating colors. Enjoy.
*Note: Love that there are no mistakes in crafting. I had a little mishap with my brand new Wink of Stella brush pen and was able to cover it up with my Stampin up butterfly punch. See. Don't ever throw it out unless it is a horrible disaster. Just make it work. :)

Creating Keepsakes.
Well, today was so awesome. I had the chance to go the Creating Keepsake convention in my area. It was so fun. Got a chance to be around creative energy and that is always the best. Learned lots of great techniques that I look forward to sharing. For now I will share a few pictures.
